Reptilians
The Ones Beneath the Glass Sky In the year 2147, the city
of Eryndor shimmered beneath a dome of transparent
alloy—a
"glass sky"
designed to protect humanity from the toxic atmosphere
outside. To most people, it was salvation.
To Elian Voss, it was a cage. Elian was a data archivist,
someone who spent his days digging through fragments
of the past. One night, while restoring corrupted satellite
files, he stumbled upon something strange—thermal
scans of the Earth… not from the surface, but
from deep underground. There were shapes.
Moving shapes. Not random. Organized.
Alive. At first, he thought it was a glitch.
But the deeper he looked, the clearer it became: vast tunnel
systems stretching beneath continents, pulsing with heat
signatures that didn’t match any known species.
And then—he saw one. A figure. Tall.
Lean. Cold-blooded by its thermal profile.
Its eyes reflected infrared light like polished glass.
Elian whispered,
"Reptilian…"
⸻ He wasn’t supposed to dig further—but curiosity is a
dangerous thing. Cross-referencing forbidden military
logs, Elian uncovered something buried even deeper: Project
SILICA. A classified operation from decades before the domes
were built. The files described an ancient
species—intelligent, subterranean, older than humanity’s
recorded history. They had lived beneath the Earth for
millennia, evolving in darkness, building cities of stone
and crystal. They were called The Saurians.
And they weren’t discovered. They revealed themselves.
⸻ The logs told a terrifying truth: when Earth’s surface
became unstable due to climate collapse, humanity thought
it was building domes to survive. But the Saurians had
helped design them. Not to protect humans.
To contain them.
