The sun was just rising over the quiet village, painting the sky in soft orange
and pink. A young boy named Arben walked down the dusty path, carrying a small
basket of fresh bread for his grandmother. The air smelled of grass and
wood smoke, and the only sounds were birds singing and cows moving slowly
in the fields. As he passed the old well, he noticed something strange—a
tiny, injured bird struggling to fly. Arben stopped, gently picked it up, and
placed it in his basket, covering it softly with a cloth.
Instead of rushing, he walked carefully the rest of the way.
When he reached his grandmother’s house, she smiled warmly but
then saw the bird. Together, they cared for it, giving it water and
a safe place to rest. Days later, the bird flew again, circling above the
village before disappearing into the sky. From that day on, Arben never
walked that path the same way again—he always looked a little closer, knowing
even the smallest moment could matter.
