“Shadow Raid”
The rain hammered the metal roof as Alex Carter checked the last bullet in his
pistol. Somewhere inside the abandoned harbor warehouse, the stolen data drive
was waiting—and so were the men who would kill to keep it.
A flash of lightning lit up the dark docks. Alex moved.
He slipped through a broken window and landed silently on the concrete floor.
Footsteps echoed from the corridor. Two guards.
Alex held his breath. The first guard walked past.
The second turned— Too late. Alex grabbed him, pulled him into the shadows,
and knocked him out cold. The other guard spun around, raising his rifle.
Bang! The shot echoed through the warehouse. Now the whole place knew he was
there. Alarms blared as Alex sprinted down the hallway.
Bullets tore splinters from the walls behind him.
He dove behind a crate, breathing hard. At the end of the room sat a steel
briefcase. The drive. Three armed men stood between him and it.
Alex pulled a small flash grenade from his pocket.
"Let’s make this interesting,"
he muttered. He rolled the grenade across the floor.
Flash! White light exploded through the room. The guards shouted in confusion.
Alex burst from cover—two quick shots, then a flying kick that sent the last
guard crashing into the table. The briefcase slid across the floor.
Alex grabbed it. Outside, sirens wailed in the distance.
He smirked.
"Perfect timing."
Clutching the briefcase, Alex sprinted back into the stormy night—already
planning the next impossible mission.
