Romantic and Action
The rain fell hard over the city, blurring the lights into streaks of gold and red.
Elena pulled her jacket tighter as she ran through the narrow streets, her heart racing—not just
from fear, but from the thought of him.
Adrian. He wasn't supposed to be part of her life. A man with secrets, danger following him like a
shadow.
But somehow, in the middle of chaos, they had found each other.
A black car screeched around the corner behind her.
"They're close. Turn left. I'm there."
She didn't hesitate. She trusted him more than she trusted herself.
As she turned, a figure stepped out of the darkness and grabbed her arm, pulling her into a doorway.
She gasped—but it was him. Wet hair, intense eyes, breath uneven.
"For a second, I thought I lost you,"
"You never will,"
she whispered, though her voice trembled.
Gunshots echoed down the street. No more time.
Adrian pulled her close, shielding her as he fired back, precise and controlled.
In that moment, she saw both sides of him—the danger and the devotion.
The man who could fight the world, and still look at her like she was the only thing that mattered.
"Stay behind me,"
he said.
"No. We get out of this together."
she replied, gripping his hand.
A small smile crossed his face.
"That's why I love you."
They ran, side by side, through the storm, through the danger—toward whatever came next.
Because for them, love wasn't safe. It was survival.
