For the child
For the Child
It was a cold winter morning when a tiny baby was left on the side of a
quiet street. There was no one around—only the soft sound of the wind
and a thin blanket barely covering the child’s fragile body.
No one knew how the baby ended up there, or why the parents had walked
away. Minutes passed like hours until an elderly woman, walking by
chance, heard a faint cry. She slowly approached, and when she saw the
baby, her heart shattered. Gently, she picked the child up, wrapping
the blanket tighter around them, whispering softly,
"Don’t be afraid… you’re safe now."
The child grew up in a small orphanage. There weren’t many toys, nor
expensive clothes, but there was something more important—people
who cared. Still, every night before falling asleep, the child would
look out the window and wonder why they had been left alone.
Years went by, and the child became strong and wise.
The pain never fully disappeared, but it turned into something
else—strength, kindness, and a deep understanding of others who felt
lost. One day, as an adult, they chose to help children just like
themselves, proving that even from abandonment, something beautiful
and powerful can grow.
